The 3rd Update on The Ukraine/Russia Conflict

Based upon popular demand, we are happy to announce that Prof. Walter Zaryckyj, Executive Director of the Center for US-Ukrainian Relations, will give us a third update talk on the Ukraine-Russia conflict. This talk is a follow-up on his riveting February 2023 update and the last for the year.

Register and attend to hear Prof. Zaryckyj cover the following three themes:

(1) The present state of affairs in the Russo-Ukrainian War, including: (a) the Battle for the Black Sea, (b) Ukraine's Counteroffensive in Southern Ukraine, (c) RU's Attempt to Win a 'Splendid Little Victory' Somewhere/Anywhere in the East (Bakhmut, Kupyansk or  Avdiivka) to Discourage Aid from the West; (d) Ukraine's New Ability to Strike (note ATACMS) Everywhere on RU Occupied UA Territory

(2) A look at the larger context of the RU-UA War, including (a) A Possible "Battle for the Black Sea" Spillover into the Eastern Med with the Hamas-Israel Struggle as a Pretext (Vlad is looking for naval bases in Libya to add to his presence in Syria); (b) Russian and Iranian Common Intrigues in the Caspian Sea and Central Asia (as they continue to share  military technology)

(3) A glance at what the West (and for that matter the Global community) has to lose if Putin can get away with holding any part of Ukraine (by force) -ie- can 'negate' the notion of 'inviolable territorial sovereignty' enshrined in the UN Charter. [CALL THIS THE "OH BOY" FACTOR]
